I finally got the re issues of Flaming School girls on Friday.

It is awsome!! Cherie is magical in the Strawberry Fields/Here Comes the Sun covers. I really enjoyed the live versions of BlackMail and Secrets. I thought Joan sounded a bit tired on Playin with Fire... However i found the introduction to Is It Day Or Night hilarious..

Cherie, you sound wonderfull on Hollywood Dreaming! U are definately one of my biggest inspirations as a singer. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I totally agree with you....
Flaming Schoolgirls is the best Runaways album
It's the immaculate Cherry BOMB !!!!!!!!!!
And that's because the Cherie songs.
She totally rocks here.
Stawberry fields stands out as a classic.
And Here comes the sun and C'mon is so powerful.
Yes, Joan shows us have to do it on Blacmail...
But this is kinda Cheri's album. ( Thank God )
I also love Hollywood cruisi'n. Fun to listen to.
Is it day or night as well, love it...
Hollywood dream is a dream cream song beautiful. Here on this album you can totally hear Cherie and he'r voice. And she sounds really **** good.
Sorry Joan, but a voice like this. You will never have. Cherie is the QUEEN.

I don't think one can compare Cherie's voice to Joan's, they're two different kind of voices and unique in their own way, they both ROCK!!! I saw that Cherie was at a Joan's show in California some time ago, I'd love to know they'd do something together again, I feel they have some magic when perform together, maybe someday, who knows! Bye, have a good day

I would love love love it if Cherie and Joan would do a duet of something new together. I got that cd of "Cherry Bomb" that they did, and love it. Now I wish they'd rock out together again!

I just went scrounging on Ebay for fun for the Cherry bomb limited edition CD. There aren't any listed under Joan or Cherie's link on Ebay. Glad I bought a couple when Blackheart first introduced them. I thought they made a pretty decent duet on both songs on the CD.
